The compilation and the link edition are done thanks to the batch file MKREG.BAT.

MKREG compiles sirene.exe. It uses the FORTRAN Digital-Compaq-Microsoft compiler (6.1 Version or latter) and the NMAKE utility of this compiler. It seems, from the tests we performed, that we cannot use the Intel Fortran Compiler for the moment since it is not compatible with the MatLab DDE routines.

You must then copy the SIRENE.EXE file in the EXE directory. Please save the initial SIRENE.EXE program under another name or in another directory, before deleting it in case you want to recover it without re-installing SIC again.
