The various functions of SIC can be used from the editing and visualization program "EdiSIC". This is sufficient for classical use of the software. Users wishing to perform more complex operations such as optimization will need to automate the current operations (execution of the various TALWEG, FLUVIA, SIRENE, results processing ...) programs without going through the user interface.

This section describes the different software features available from a command line also called "Batch mode". This opening will allow scripts (.BAT, Scilab, Matlab, R, Python ...) written by the user to automate these operations.
